GRADING

Physical Education Grading will be based on a composition of the following:

• Written tests, teacher observation, technique evaluations, and technology assignment.

• Work habits, attitude, dressing out and degree of effort on a daily basis.

 

Points will be deducted for non-participation, tardies, and poor attitude.

50% = Written tests that follow each unit.

50% = Participation and Fair play – Circle of Honor (fair-play and teamwork skills) are taught and are expected. 

*Each tardy will result in a 1% grade reduction and each no-dress will result in a written class assignment as well as a 2% grade reduction. 

Medical sit outs must be accompanied by a note from parent/guardian or doctor.

 

Extra credit will be offered at the teacher’s discretion.
